WEATHER POLICY:

In the event of thunderstorm or tornado watches or warnings given for Muskegon or Ottawa counties, as well as when the wind chill dips to 0 degrees or the heat index rises to 95 degrees, THWM will cancel classes. On occasion, high winds or muddy ring conditions due to past days' rains necessitate cancellation for safety's sake. If you question the situation, please call the THWM answering machine at (616)837-6112 one hour prior to your classtime to determine if class has been cancelled. Instructors will NOT regularly call students or volunteers regarding weather issues. THWM will offer one scheduled makeup date during a session, but cannot guarantee that a full session can be ridden if there are multiple weather cancellations. THWM does not make up classes that participants cancel or do not attend.
